REQUEST AN ABSENTEE BALLOT TO VOTE BY MAIL BY APRIL 29
Any registered Ohio voter can vote by mail with absentee ballot by filling out an application to do so by April 29 — but don't wait! You can start requesting your ballot now. After submitting an application, voters will receive their absentee ballot in the mail. You can vote by mail using the last 4 digits of your Social Security — you do not need a photo ID. The absentee ballot must be postmarked by May 5 or returned in person to your county Board of Elections by 7:30pm on November 6.
VOTE IN PERSON — EARLY STARTING APRIL 8 OR ON ELECTION DAY MAY 6
Early voting begins April 8 at each county's early vote location. Polls are open on Election Day Tuesday, May 6 from 6:30am to 7:30pm. In order to vote in person, you MUST have a valid unexpired photo ID (Ohio Driver's License or State ID, U.S. Passport, U.S. Military ID, or Ohio National Guard Card).
